Spring has Sprung

May is here!  Finally, the seeds begin to sprout, the leaves pop out, and life explodes all around us.  At this time of year, we see once again how something very little, with a little bit of water and sunshine, turns into something big and beautiful!

Follow the Buffalo, Inc. presents an opportunity for you to share in growing something beautiful.

Members of the Pine Ridge Reservation community have a vision to teach the young people about their culture. They have developed a very special and powerful method for presenting their culture through a camp experience.  The camp combines fun outdoor activities like swimming and horseback riding with teachings, ceremonies and experiences that explain their culture.

Read more about the camp here.  It can offer a life changing experience for Lakota youth that will benefit the entire community.

Sixteen campers were able to go on this journey last Summer at a cost of $350 per camper.  We at Follow the Buffalo, Inc. would like to help expand this opportunity.  Would you help us by sponsoring a camper for $350?  Or how about one day of camp for $50?  Your gift in any amount will be greatly appreciated and will help with this important project.

To help this project spring into something big, the directors of Follow the Buffalo have established a matching fund.  This will double the impact of your gift!

We have all received blessings from the wisdom and spiritual insights of our Lakota friends.  Please join with us to help them in this important work.

Click here to give, and your gift will be doubled with matching funds!

Thank you, Wopila, for your love and generosity!
